On Monday, November 16, 2018, The Mod Exposure team, donated $6,000 of merchandise to the Milwaukee Women’s Shelter, which provides housing for 20 women and 30 children who are victims of domestic violence. We organized donations from local businesses and prepared a Cajun Chicken Alfredo meal with eight different styles of dessert cakes for the women and children to enjoy.
Gifts included undergarments, hygiene products, bedding, and clothes and some toys. It was truly a day to remember, and every one of us is grateful for the chance to have been involved in such a worthwhile cause.
We can’t say for certain why other people give to charity, but for those of us at The Mod Exposure, the value of giving back is beyond measure. It feels great to know that we were a force for good in the lives of people who could really use a bit of kindness right now.
To have done so as a team, and around the holiday season, reminds us how grateful we are to work with caring people who believe in making a difference, not just a profit.
This moving event has created an even stronger desire in all of us to be involved in our communities. See what causes we support next by liking The Mod Exposure on Facebook.
